Thousands of books have been published, all debating whether UFOs are real or just figments of our imaginations.
This new book -- A.D. After Disclosure -- is not one of them.
Our collaboration involving what the world will look like after UFO disclosure takes place is set to be published at the stroke of midnight between September 23 and September 24 of this year.
We wrote it, frankly, because it was the book we both wanted to read but no one had ever written it.
Within the UFO literary tradition, each book seems to allow itself a sentence or two, maybe even a paragraph, sometimes a few pages, where the author dips his toes into the disclosure water. All of that teasing just made us both thirsty for more.
Over six decades into this quiet revolution that UFOs herald, we can now see the outlines of a reality that’s been sneaking up on us one step at a time. The issue that got hushed up by one generation and turned into an object of derision by another now demands to be heard straight up in ours.
Since the first major wave of UFO sightings in 1947, the number of people who believe that UFOs are of extra-terrestrial origin has steadily risen. Today nearly 70% of Americans believe that this is the case, and at least five percent claim to have actually seen a UFO.
The evidence that something strange has been happening and is happening is now voluminous and convincing. All you have to do is look for it. Over the years, determined civilian researchers have forced the release of once-classified reports prepared by the United States government and other nations. These accounts tell a story of contact through the eyes of thousands of professional and military witnesses. The vast majority of the public now rejects the theory that all sightings can be explained away as weather balloons, swamp gas flares, ball lighting or mass hallucination. Instead, they seem to have settled on one conclusion:
At least some UFOs appear to be intelligently controlled physical craft of some kind from some place that isn’t here.
Accepting that as our starting point is what makes our book different.
A.D. ✪ After Disclosure focuses exclusively on what might happen after an announcement that UFOs are real.

The battle for UFO disclosure has been a political movement without a song for too long. To bring people together and create change, activists need an anthem that gives voice to their feelings through the powerful medium of music.
That's why A.D. co-author Bryce Zabel wrote and produced "NEED-TO-KNOW: The UFO Disclosure Song." We want you to hear it, then hopefully turn your friends on to it. If enough of us start talking to others about what it means, we may just change the world.
You can visit the website dedicated to the song at www.ufodisclosuresong.com and hear a short clip and read more about how it came to be produced.

Someday soon, possibly before this current decade ends, our leaders may admit that people who have seen UFOs are not crazy liars but honest, decent witnesses who have seen something… extraordinary.
Whatever the ultimate truth turns out to be now about what is behind them, we are probably as prepared as we’re ever going to be to hear it. The cover-up of official denial that has been in place for over half a century now is falling apart.
What will happen after "they" finally admit that UFOs are real?
Answering the simple yes-or-no question about the existence of strange visitors, however, will not be the end of the debate, but the beginning.
Will disclosure lead to social panic? Undermine religion? Destroy the stock market? Or will it lead to revolutionary new technologies, extended life spans and world peace?
If other civilizations have sent their own explorers across the universe to visit us, who are they? What do they want? And why would some of our own people have kept the news of their arrival from the rest of us? What will unmasking a truth of this magnitude do to our reality, our way of life, our culture, our society?
Any such revelation will be a game-changer of monumental proportions. Unlike 9/11 when we said everything would change, in this case, it really will.
Full disclosure could usher in an age of human unity, or it could lead to global despair. Maybe it will be a new age, or it could bring the world to its knees.
Those are the questions that have kept both of us up at nights. Because we wanted answers, we took on the challenge of this book project. Both of us feel that the other things we have done in the field of UFO writing and research have led us inexorably to this project.
Richard has a graduate degree in history from the University of Rochester where he studied US Cold War strategy, Soviet history and culture, and international diplomacy. He was beginning to write a book about the national security state's rise after World War II and watched it morph into UFOs and the National Security State, a study of the attitudes and policies toward UFOs by the military and intelligence community, and the fascinating development of the citizen movements to end UFO secrecy.
Bryce grew up only a few miles from where the classic McMinnville, Oregon photos were taken. Even so, as a network correspondent and investigative reporter, he started as a skeptic but found his mind opening when research he was doing for several high-profile film and TV projects seemed to strongly suggest that UFOs are not science fiction but science fact. He created the NBC TV series, "Dark Skies," wrote the Sci-Fi Channel film "Official Denial," and worked with Steven Spielberg on "Taken."
Over our careers, we've each sifted through the evidence, heard from the believers and deniers and, basically, done the homework that more of our nation’s so-called “investigative” journalists should have done. Yes, we are now believers, but we did not start out that way. We followed the facts where they led.
Was it right to keep this secret from our citizens since the 1940s? To laugh at people who saw what they saw and were made to feel small and ridiculous for speaking about it? To make the most important information of our lifetimes into a stand-up comedian’s joke?
No. It certainly was not. Maybe we will ultimately put the secret-keepers in jail for that crime but, more likely, we will shrug and think we might have done the same thing if we had been in their position. Whatever their reasons for keeping us in the dark, we deserve to hear the full story now and make our own plans.
Still, after the truth-telling is done, what will matter then is trying to understand as a society what these select few have known about for decades. Will we do a better job with the truth than they have? Nobody really knows.
Whether or not these Others want us to know about them now is irrelevant. They have messed around in our neighborhood long enough and they have been caught in the act. Even the outrageous, heavy-handed shell-game played by our officials is not enough to keep it quiet anymore.
What the Others actually are doing and what it means is the riddle before us. All we can do until the details are known as common facts is speculate. And maybe that is all our governments can do anyway. Maybe they just do not know as much as we think they do.
After 9/11, the government actually reached out to writers in Hollywood to ask them to think “outside the box” to help imagine possible terrorist attack plans that they could not. This book is an attempt to think like that. We have to start getting prepared now.
Let us say — for the sake of argument — that the shroud of secrecy surrounding the UFO reality, built by the policy of official denial and ridicule, is now crumbling like the Berlin Wall. That physical wall in Germany was an anachronism destroyed by a paradigm shift that was years in the making but, when it happened, made the world breathless by how quickly it arrived and was accepted. Official denial, if it falls apart in the months or years ahead, could cave in with astonishing speed. One day it will be there and the next it will be gone.
Acknowledging the existence of non-human intelligence would certainly change how we see the military, our government, the media and the scientific community. It would clearly impact religion, the environment, Wall Street and all aspects of our culture.
Ready or not, in a time of bailouts, terrorism, nuclear proliferation and environmental decay, we may still be called on to multi-task. We have to do it all.
Imagine that we really are not alone. And that the Others aren’t light years away, some kind of cosmic pen-pals chatting by radio telescope. They are here. Now.
Things are about to change. Maybe for the better. Maybe for the worse. But they will not stay the same.
It is time to get real and deal with it.
There will soon be everything before disclosure and there will be everything after disclosure. It's the brave new world of A.D. ✪ After Disclosure.
Life After Contact begins now...

Thousand of books have been published, all debating whether UFOs are real or just figments of our imaginations.
This book is not one of them.
You already know we are not alone. What happens when the powers-that-be publicly admit that fact? How will the truth change our society and your life?
We're Richard Dolan and Bryce Zabel, the authors of a new book, A.D. After Disclosure: The People's Guide to Life After Contact, that ships to customers on or before October 25, 2010.
We believe that this book is the first work of non-fiction to exclusively tackle these questions about the new post-Disclosure winners and losers in government, science, religion, media, culture, law, education, and politics. Life will go on after the truth is told, but it will never be the same.
What follows below this box is the actual word-for-word "Introduction" to A.D. After Disclosure. We've posted it so you can get a feeling for our writing and for the content we'll be discussing in the 344 page hardcover edition.

We love the emerging design of the cover (it won't be locked and final, of course, until the project is sent to the printers) and wanted to credit the talented people who've made it possible.
The latest iteration which you see to the left comes from graphic design artist Nancy Tokos of Tokos Design Studios (www.tokosdesignstudios.com) in 2010.
Nancy was working with an original flag and alien concept developed by Alicia Fernandez and Michael Kaplan of Blue Sky Creative (www.blueskycreative.com) in 1996.
Alicia and Michael were working from an alien model design created by Todd Masters of MastersFX (www.mastersfx.com) in 1995.
All of the artists mentioned above have given us their blessings to bring their work forward to the public in this book/media project, A.D. After Disclosure.
We hope that if you have need for the kinds of services these talented people and their companies provide that you will reach out to them through the above links.
We endorse them without qualification.
